" I guess they just don't want them anymore, I have no idea why though." Kazumi said, turning her attention to the eggs, checking them for any defects. "Yep, no reason that they would leave them." She said, shrugging. Kaia started to rub her nose on the eggs, feeling bad for them.
" Awww, are you a sweetie or what! Im glad I have you Kaia!" And Kaia jumped into Kazumis arms.

(Surrogate mother Amethyst to the rescue! XD)
Hearing that they babies might have to fend for themselves sent Amethyst's maternal instinct into overdrive. She went to the nest and huddled the eggs like they were her own. "Um... I don't think she's going to move until they hatch. And I also don't think she's going to let me leave until she knows that they'll all be taken care of." Norekko paused to help Enigma settle on her shoulders again, as the sudden movement from Amethyst frightened him. "So if Hawkstar doesn't take any of them, I suppose I will." Norekko let out a small laugh thinking about Amethyst chasing a bunch of little Aurleons around trying to get them t behave.
