Oh and that "Ms." from two comments above that is in response to Alfred not a direction to the student.
Honestly I don't see why there should be a race limit period. I mean just tell the other players what you are and what you do in your profile. Why does it matter if we are ether all different things or a few of the same. We will interact and have relationships in different forms one way or another.
My first teacher is an avenged inugami because apparently demons can be summoned which means inugami can be made. If possible I would like her to teach physical education and or health.

Okay, no limit then~ But you did made a point about conjuration being useless if any kind of race could stay in this world, that's the whole point of summons. Well, I guess the more the merrier.
EDIT: So maybe whatever race you are, as long as you're sentient is fine. I think that's it? o:

Well we aren't summoning things like elves we re summoning creatures and occasionally natural summon creatures by accident like demons. I would assume

Yep, so sentient summons are impossible. Unless it's an accident! I guess we nearly wrap this up, just to pull out the past ideas so others can recap!

There are 8 magic classes, Alchemy, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Enchanting, Illusion, Mysticism, and Restoration.
Races are free for all, make your character sentient, normally summoned creatures are like animals.
No major plot, just teenage wizards life.
Character limit is free, as long as you can play them all, not neglecting any of your character.
I think this is all? Please tell me if I forget something! Also does everyone agree with this?

I don't remember anything about classes being picked, I could add several to that. I mean this is a school how much of a normal school is it. Is this an open world fantasy or are we in a dffernt realm is this like.
Private school for 'special' students because the world can't teach them till they learn to control there powers.
In which case we have like general Math, History, Languages, Science, Drawing, Basic Art, Digital Programming, I mean literally so many options
Also are Gym and Health the same?
What is Mysticism and why do we have a destruction course? Summons need to be on the list, it should be different then simple spells conjuring
Alteration is that really a major? we could just be good with illusions I mean physically warring something is rather advanced
Normally I'd say magical school so no basic classes but every race kind of needs to learn this stuff and where else but school?

I'm not sure anyone decided on what realm this is. I think fantasy? But I don't think so.
Maybe you haven't seen my previous posts yet? o: Here you go!
Alchemy: Potion making and the likes, pretty much self explanatory. Alteration: The magic to change physical things in our surrounding, like changing our worn clothes to stone armor. Conjuration: Summoning magic, like calling monsters from the other plane for limited time. Destruction: Destructive magic like fireball, ice arrow, and others. Illusion: Self explanatory! Mysticism: Magic type that could negate all types of other magic, like repel or dispel. Restoration: Healing and supportive stuff. Enchant: This is categorized as magic on Skyrim, but I kind of see enchanters running around on this RP, this is pretty much as imbuing magic on items, making them have magical properties.
I took the classes based on game series called The Elder Scrolls. I don't think you're familiar with that. Sorry... DX
I don't understand what you meant with no basic classes... Do you mean no math and stuff like that? I think basic lessons should be there, but the magic classes has majors players can pick.

I think potions should be it's own thing and the alchemy should be more like alteration because it's the art of transforming one substance to another.
Can We all Destruction something else like conjuring and just have something be simply Summoning or Summons class?
Restoration should include actualy like repairing buildings with magic
I'm fine with the other courses but yes I think we need the basic courses as well

Well, I don't mind the changes, I'm going to wait for others to decide. OuO
But because I played TES I'm going to give comments about a few things, alchemy is potion making, maybe you might want to change the name. I did say too that the name of classes should be changed, because I think not all are familiar with TES universe. But no one had replied anything about it. So that's why I assume everything is fine.
Alchemy had limitation based on ingredients used to make something, Alteration based on how strong your magic capabilities, you experience, and your creativity. So I don't think alchemy should be categorized as alteration magic.
Restoration is a magic that can only heal living creatures, creatures or plants. Repairing building is the use of alteration magic.

Can you rephrase this? I don't get the question... DX

Destruction just sounds....you don't want to teach a hormonal teen destruction could we call the class by another name. Like Conjuring because you are conjuring your magic.
The conjuring you have is summoning
But I think it would just be easier to call Summoning class. Summons or Summoning instead of conjuring

Destruction for teens maybe can be something like this, create fire for campfires, water for drinking (lol XD), chanting a gust of wind, elemental stuff. Maybe changing them into basic Elemental magic class?
Kk, we'll change conjuring to summoning magic~
