@Flute: No, I wasn't already breeding. I came up with this after the regens ^.^ The magenta being nearly hidden is on purpose. I just wanted that little bit peeking out around the kitsune. It's just enough contrast without being too much, and ties the purple of the Hermes and the wings to the body.

I do admit it is a bit fun navigating the messed up colors! Lol. There are some that look shockingly good despite some slots being terrible for colors. Like this one has magenta for its gene and mutation slots. It was a miracle for it to come out this good ahah.
Of course I also have 0 pet dyes so I don't have that luxury. xD (I remember in the past someone offering me 200-300 per dyes for some trade, but I didn't take it; would have come in handy right about now haha)
It is smart to not regenerate since the value should go up. But at the same time there are a lot of 6 via Zolinxis out there so I'm not sure how special the re-gen for Zolinxis will really be. For me there is also the added fact that I have around 7 tabs of them so many to spare. But it is true that you can't go back!

The regen-able nixis are at a peak atm, and kinda may plateau until people start breeding the new recessive stuff that's behind the drawn-line point of the traits that the regens can't have. ;w;
It's sad because I have the urge to buy -all the nixis!-, but some of the traits aren't exactly likeable for me. ;w; (I love the new traits more than the old, noooo~)

I didn't think about the gene availability, but that makes a lot of sense. I adore the new tails, they are adorable. I can't wait to see the new festival ones as well! I had that urge right before the revamp, except I succumbed to it and bought 500k worth of Zolinxis lol.
Here's another Zolinxi. It was quite the disaster despite the colors looking uniform. They were all just different enough in their shades to look off. But then somehow was able to get the different purple shades out and replaced with pink.
