"Hmmmm.... Hmmmm..." Apheida rumbled out. "Perhaps it would be best to leave the matter of leadership until it is closer to your time, my friend." She nodded at the phoenix, and watched the wolf warily out of the corner of her eye. "It seems to me that we should determine our aims first, and the matter of leadership may resolve itself along the journey," she paused and turned to the Shifter, roots creaking, then extended a flowering branch in their direction -- a symbol of peace. "...though I am but a youngling myself, and perhaps my views may not be as considered as they could."
Apheida kept her eyes trained on the wolf, though her other senses let her know that the others around the table were settling again. Though she had some similarity in transformative ability, it was not nearly so powerful or varied, and shadow creatures always worried her slightly. 'Too many bad experiences in the past...' she thought to herself, willing her mind to remain open to unlikely allies, regardless of their affiliations.

Ryoku stood in the inn away from the others and out of sight. He was currently in the room next to where the others had gathered, but between his keen ears and the fact none of the others seemed to be taking any effort in keeping their voices quiet, he could hear them quite easily. He had just come to the Inn on his way back from a mission, but it seemed some things were getting interesting here. He wondered why they were arguing so much. He couldn't see them ever getting anything done with that kind of attitude. That was the reason he barely ever went anywhere with any company. He preferred to stay alone where no one was holding him back. This group might be interesting to keep an eye on later. Even with their arguing they seemed to have a lot of stronger members in their group...if thats what you could call it. He sat back and snapped his fingers allowing a little flame to pop up on the top of his finger. He watched it with little interest, his boredom getting the best of him. He watched it dance for a big, allowing it to change colors and grow slightly before it began floating upwards. "Maybe I will finally have something interesting ahead..."
((Hope you all don't mind me going ahead and posting, I couldn't seem to wait any longer haha))

Shadora looked at Octavia wearily there were not so many that could intrude on a mental conversation such as hers and the phoenix's and it intrigued her they spoke of nothing but Octavia knew they were arguing and that unsettled her she raised her mental barriers not wanting any more intrusions she went back into stealth mode unseen by those around her a confused look crossed faces and she laughed always with the stupid looks when she did this she wanted to ponder this Octavia thing alone
She trotted toward the druid and started to shift forms back into the night phoenix her back paws turned to claws her front to wings her muzzle into a beak and so on until she stood on the ground in the form of a night phoenix she spread her wings and flew into the branches of the druid waiting to see what would happen next she sat there for a time
Until the light caught her eye that burned and flickered and began to rise the fire reminded her of home and she wanted to be near it she went toward the one controlling it unseen
it seemed the others hadn't noticed him she shifted back into the form of a black wolf and when she reached him she seated herself next to him on the floor watching the flame and for a time she missed her home

(btw there is noting in Galaxea's post that says there is only one phoenix in the universe i read it several times to be sure so if i wanted to i could play as a Phoenix so it isn't really fair to say there is only 1 when she never specified that at all i actually might make one for my shifter and maybe have a race added to)

(One I ask that Hawkeye and Esstella read the my post in the sign up forum. I have tried to make an equal compromise for both. I also ask that if they want to argue please us the sign up forum instead of the actual RPG. It does make it harder for the other RPers to reply with there own characters. Once again please do not be mad as I have the difficult task of trying to be fair to all the RPers in this Rp. I do apologize if I end up offending you. I am not the best negotiator although I do promise to always do my best. If you have a problem, or a question please feel free to ask me. Although I ask that you try to do so calmly and not cyber yell at me. (Cyber yell, At least I have invented a new term for me to giggle at, LOL). As the host of the RP I have the responsibility to try to help you with such things, so please help me to help you solve these problems. Thanks in advance :D)
Garth gave a sigh of relief. It was all he could do not to scold them both. He could not tell what their conversation was about, but he knew enough about reading expressions to tell an argument when he saw one. If they could use telepathy he would have to be careful. Thankfully while he could not use it himself he did have a very effective defense against invasions into his mind. Still if it had taken one moment longer his temper might have gotten the better of him and he could have ended up revealing to much about himself. He sighed feeling cloth of his cap rub against the hidden tips of his ears, and the simple silver colored circlet around his brow also hidden by the rough headgear . No he did not want to be letting them know about either of those. Octavia he might not mind too much, since he had worked with her before and found her to be trustworthy.Still he had his reasons for keeping his secrets. He stood up and walked to Brinsingr. "I have learned that no one can lead in all situations and to respect those who do lead in whatever situation we find ourselves in. You are still our leader for this quest. If you need my help I will give it. I am aware of the power and wisdom of your kind, and will try to work with all of the company." He looked at the rest of them. "As the oracle I spoke with directed me towards this adventure I am needed here. As is likely everyone in this company. We would do better to try and get along, or in the very least to attempt to be civil with each other." With that he walked back to his seat and sat down finishing the last of his drink.
( Garth: What was that. Did you just tell them about...
Me: No, I just gave them a hint.
Garth: Who told you that you could do that!
Me: Me and I'm the writer, Muahahahahaha!
Garth: (Sweatdrops) You people see what I have to deal with. Being a favorite made up character involves the biggest headache of your life, namely your writer especially as the other people who give you headaches were also created by them.)

(Ok. Going to RP here for the first time. Here goes.)
A small fairy flew in through a window, quickly losing altitude. She collapsed onto her side on Garth and Co.'s table, the closest to her, breathing heavily. She was clearly tired, and probably hungry, but she didn't seem to be very hurt, physically at least. She rolled onto her back, gazing at the creatures gathered 'round. This was quite a weird bunch. A dwarf, a druid, and some others. There was a phoenix too. Wow... She thought. I've heard that they're really rare. She then wondered if they would notice her immediately or not. She tried to slow her breathing, but it wasn't working. Right now, all she wanted to do was sleep. But she just couldn't seem to.

(Hey I just wanted to say I think you handled it well. I know how hard it can be to be that middleman/woman and I know its not easy to find solutions i've been there before as a fellow rp creator. I just am glad i know i'm joining an rp with a creator who at least wants to take initiative to solve issues to make the rp the best it can be. :) I know i havn't been here long but I already know I will enjoy my time here.)

Garth glanced at the little fairy on the table. He felt some level of distress. His senses were not strong enough to tell whether it was emotional or physical most of the time, but from the looks of her it was at least partly physical. "Are you alright?", he whispered softly.
