Lunaris looks back to see if the griffi hatchling she saw was still there. Nope. Maybe she should get back to the water. Ignoring the stranger, she turned away from him. "Your not worth my time." She starts walking away from him, towards the lake.

Venom laughed hysterically. "I am sure you are wrong about that. I have many reasons of worth." he replied, the glowing essence around him glowing brighter for a moment.

Lunaris ignores him, and as she continues to walk towards the water, her amulet pulses with light in response to the stranger's glow. She tried to hide it as it continued to pulse making odd chirping sounds. It had never done this before.

Hope continued to look from one adult griffi to the other waiting for one of them to do something. Her head movements were almost reminiscent of a horizontal yoyo.

The amulet around Lunaris' neck chirps louder, pulsating faster and brighter. It changed colors, from pitch black to ocean blue. Lunaris started running.

Venom sat down, then out of nowhere, seemingly vanished into the darkness.

Gaurdian fainted, out of nowhere. He only let out a loud yelp when he fell on his back, the thorn digging deeper into his shoulder.

Hope jumped back in surprise as the big griffi fell. Hope nudged the unconscious griffi. "Are you sleepy Guardian?" When she got no response the little griffi just huffed, "Guess so." She curled up next the the larger creature to wait for him to wake up.

Suddenly, the amulet stopped humming. Lunaris stopped, confused to what was going on. Without noticing, she had stumbled out into the open. The Griffis were a few feet away from her, but they didn't seem to notice. She tries to sneak away.

Venom sighed, and plopped down atop his scaled feet. "Well, there leaves my fun." he growled.
