Also +1ing the want to have the female's other ear visible. With how it is now, any traits that affect the back of the ear will not be visible on the adult female, which is a disappointment

This! I would also like to agree that the female's other ear should be visible too, either off to the side of the head or at the other side of the crystal above the head, I was hoping the crystal above the head (not on the forehead) would have been a heart too but I love the current design update in the sketch phase

The male's pose looks much better, nice work! And adding to the chorus of voices suggesting the female's left ear be visible.

I like the somewhat friendlier expression on the Adult Male.

I think the female hatchling's arms are still set a little wide. I'm not sure what the intended range of motion is meant to be, mind you, but it looks like the others would have a hard timing placing their entire arm in line over the leg gems, since the arms are set more inward with the hands centered. (The changes on the adults for that are great, by the way.)

Imagine the anatomy if the adult female was covering the middle gems on her knees. It would require more humanoid shoulders to have that range of motion, which is why the female hatchling still stands out to me as being odd.

How can I put this into words... I don't think the others could T-pose because of their anatomical limits, but the female hatchling looks like she probably could. At the very least, she could totally position her arms like this /( _ )\ while the others look to be limited more to ( \ / ) \( / ) or ( \ )/

Splitting both arms with the outward flex just looks off to me.

(with the / and \ being the arms)

First off, I really, really like these designs. They still feel like bulboris, but also feel more in line with the more recent artwork. I also particularly like the crystals on the adults and the fur on the baby male. The one note I do have is with the adult's eyes, particularly the female's. I can't put my finger on what exactly is creating this effect for me, but they just look almost anthropomorphized, rather than the eyes of an animal. It frankly could just be a result of not having colors/traits, but I figured I should mention it just in case that's useful feedback in any way.

Amazing to see how such a small adjustment was made to the male and made a world of difference for him! :D Much better in my opinion!

The adjustment on the female is nice too! Although she still just looks like she has a mouth completely stuffed full of food and has cheeks like a chipmunk lol. And to be frank, so does the baby boy, although I think the pose makes it not quite as noticeable. The way the line under the adult female's right (our left) eye has that curve that interferes with her eye shape and makes it seem like she has a mouth full of food versus fluffy cheeks. In the baby female, the line is moved to be directly under her eye and not a part of her eye, which makes her cheeks look more fluffy versus stuffed, which is more appealing in my opinion.

I notice the male hatchling has the gems on the knees, but the adult male doesn't? Were those simply not added to the sketch?
While the posing of the adult female's ears look okay, I can't say I like only one ear being visible. Can you maybe perk the ears a bit so the far one is at least a bit visible?
Love the fluffiness of the hatchlings, but the adults aren't quite as fluffy. The female's tail in particular looks kinda bland. It feels like the tail fur should be a bit longer, maybe?
The adult female having solid colored eyes also look very soulless and weird compared to the detailed eyes of the other three.
The adult female's neck fluff is also really smooth compared to the fluffiness of the other three's neck fluff. It feels like it should be slightly longer, particularly right behind the shoulders, like both the female hatchling and both males.

I find it very cute that the females have a heart gems while the males have a diamond gems on the forehead.
The hatchling's floating gems having that wisp around it make it feel like its not fully formed, which make sense for them and I think looks nice. The hatchlings look really good!

The gems weren't really a focus of any of the sketches. All of them will have their gems on the final version. In the original Bulbori, the gems are attached to the base lineart. In the revamped version, the gems will be separated from the base so that we can then do mutation-based gems that completely change them.

We ended up adding the second ear to the Adult Female due to overwhelming player feedback. I think it actually does make her look even more adorable and balances her head. So she will have both ears. =)

As for the eyes, they were not drawn out in detail for the sketches. You can just consider them as placeholders. The real eyes will be very detailed.

A lot of other finer details will be smoothed out during the lineart phase or gets more detailed when shading and highlights are added.
