(I did that when I was like 6 years old, I tried to adopt some random kid into my family and then my mom kicked her out lmao)

Viva's mother grabs Viva and scrambles backward quickly. "Get that Nightwing out of here!" She shouts angrily. "Do you have any idea what they have done to our kind?!?" She yells, hissing at Starsight, remembering what happened to her sister back when she was younger.

( Oh, geez.)

Starsight stepped back, flaring her wings protectively. She flinched at the RainWing's words and she fought the urge to turn tail and run back to her kingdom. She folded her wings close to herself, stepping backwards.

"Mom! She's a good Nightwing. She left the Nightwing kingdom because she doesn't like their ways. Please be nice to her." Viva looks up at her mother with pleading eyes, who sighs and lets go of her daughter. "Fine, but she will need to earn her keep. And blend in with the ways of the Rainwings." She decides, sending one last glare in Starsight's direction before going over to the door and saying "I'll be back by nightfall, I need to pick something up." behind her shoulder and flying off.

(Questions:
Are there markets or stores or anything like that in WoF?
Do the dragons hunt for their food or buy it?)

(RainWings eat fruit bc they're vegetarians. And I believe there's a store in the village.)

Cass wandered back into the village, heading for the healer's hut, glaring as she saw that the Nightwing was IN. THE. VILLAGE. She grimaced, and ran to tell Blossom about this terrible, terrible tragedy.

(Btw Blossom is Cassowarys best friend but is more of an NPC character so I won't be playing as her. She's also a healer and is just an all around cinnamon roll.)

Starsight watched Viva's mother fly out and gave Viva a sad look. " I wish they would like me. I wish they wouldn't look at a NightWing and think about what happened. I wish they'd give us a chance." she said, looking around the hut.

"Well, i'm giving you a chance." Viva smiles and looks in a box containing a variety of fruit. She grabs out a dragonfruit (haha how hilarious) and gives it to Starsight, then takes one for herself. "You must be hungry by now," She says, and sits down. "Maybe we can cover your scales so that no one knows that you're a Nightwing." She thinks, wanting to make her new friend more comfortable.

"True." she said, taking the fruit gratefully. " I don't think covering my scales will work. Only if I was half RainWing. And I'm pretty sure I'm not part RainWing." she added before Viva could ask if she was. She sits down with Viva.

Cass looked at Blossom and ranted the entire, TERRIBLE situation to her. Blossom smiled kindly as Cass fumed. "I'm sure it's not that bad," "She could be super nice!" Cass shook her head. Nightwings were monsters. They couldn't be trusted, no matter how nice they seemed.

Starsight finishes her dragonfruit quickly. " That's the best food I've had in forever." she said to Viva. She then turned around when she thought she heard something. " Did you hear that, Viva?" she asked the Rain/Ice hybrid.
