Cam stays silent for a moment, trying to figure out how exactly she could help zir. Ze had assumed that The Force people would go away once they started interacting with them. Ze glances back when Ariel lets go of zir shirt. The two from The Force had started retreating their steps. Cameron sighs and gives a confused smile. "Nevermind. I think you momentarily solved it. Those people from The Force didn't look friendly and intent on meeting us. I was trying to postpone that for as long as possible. Thank you."

"I'm from the Force." They reply casually with a shrug.

Cam gives a start. "Oh." Ze hadn't noticed them wearing The Force's symbol.. Ze silently gets on zir case on how ze should have been more hesitant to trust anyone. "Um. Thank you for your help. We'll be going now." Cameron takes Ariel's hand and begins to walk away, back home. Ariel grins up at zir, about to make a snide comment about Cam taking too many risks but decides not to because the only way to get zir attention would be to splash colours in the shape of words onto the sidewalk in front of them. That hadn't gone well last time.

"You can calm down. I only report magic-users who are aggressive." They shrug casually as the two begin to walk away. "I have magic myself."

Ariel looks over his shoulder at their comment. He turns and taps his foot on the sidewalk behind him so the stranger that doesn't seem hostile can read it. Green letters scrawl across the ground, "What's your magic?"

The shadows around him shift, moving like a thick liquid. One shadow, formed by a nearby tree, drips and falls cold onto his hand, turning into a magic-made sphere made from shadow. It's cold, but completely solid. After a few moments the feeling fades, and the shadow-ball becomes ordinary shadow again.

[indent]Ariel stares at the shadow ball, giddy amazement evident in his expression. Then he looks up at the stranger. "That's so cool! I wish I had that power." This blue message overwrote the previous one.
[indent]It was followed by one in green, "What is your name? Mine is Ariel Patterson and this," he nods to Cameron who has stopped and is watching, "is the overly cautious Cam who just wants to make sure we're safe."
[indent]"Why," this green message appeared once the others had faded, "did you join The Force? Aren't they evil?"

They look a bit winded now. It must take a lot of energy to use that magic. "You may call me Fey. It is easier to pronounce than my whole name. And, the Force is not evil. There are simply some... negative individuals who work there."

Ariel still thinks the power is cool and is clearly fascinated with it. This new opinion of The Force is equally intriguing. Blue replaces green on the sidewalk, "I see.. If there are more people on The Force like you, then it can't be that bad. Could I join you?"
Cam made a startled noise. "Now why would you want to do that? I'm not going to let you get a job just yet. Especially not one where you are risking your life joining a group trying to get rid of something you have."
"With Fey's perspective, I can gather that The Force is like the Police, for magics-users and non-magics-users respectively. I don't want people with magic doing terrible things to people. You wouldn't want that to happen, would you?" These words were written in a vibrant green on the side of the nearest building, which Ariel had tapped. The one directed towards Fey dissolves when the one directed towards Cam appears.
Cam's purses zir lips as ze thinks, "You can agree with them, but that doesn't mean you should join them." Ariel makes a big show of pouting at what was said.

Fey simply watches them talk, trying to get back their energy.
