Kate's face went from pink to a deep red. The Ferris wheel started to move again and Kate startled.

D opened her eyes and noticed how Kate was started and she put both her wings around the other girl. "Safe." She said in a reassuring tone,patting Kate's hand gently with her own.

Kate nodded and cleared her throat, which had constricted a little, but not just from the heights, either. The wheel jerked to a stop at the top

Diana stiffened only for a moment at the jerk but then pulled both her wings back to her sides and with wide golden eyes looked around. "Wow." She breathed,eyes wandering around and admiring the world from where they where. She'd not known there was so much in the world,so much more than gray cement and cold iron bars.

There was. They could see just about the whole mall from where they were at, and they could also see all the people that were shopping or just hanging out.

She released Kate's hand and put her hands to the bar and smiled brightly. "So much." She said,tail twitching happily.

"Yeah, after this ride we can go explore it if you want." She had brought her wallet so she could buy D a few things if she wanted

"Really?" She asked,looking to Kate with wide glittering golden eyes that matched beautifully with her blond hair.

Kate couldn't help but smile at her expression. "Of course!"

She clapped happily,her purple top billowing a bit at the bottom from her movements.
