"What do you want to know about it?" I asked. I had no odea what she knew about us, but I was sure ot was either very little or incorrect. Maybe both.

she tilted her head as if recalling a long lost memory " well during possession of a soul, the two would combine into one soul, so there is no way of splitting them apart. " she said gently

"So they're stuck?" I asked. "Wait... so all of those horror movies are wrong?" "Those poor people no wonder the spirits are so upset." I frowned and looked at my feet.

she thought for a moment " not a whole lot I guess, I never really believed any monster stories they told us as kids " she explained brushing her hair out of her face

She nodded " yeah that's why there is a big crime difference between stealing and possession, souls are a class A case, I've done a few but not many, and they don't normally end up going very well " she said curling her tail as if the memory made her uncomfortable for a moment before she brushed it away

"So you're a police officer?" I asked. "That's really cool!" I told her my eyes lighting up.

she shighed as she thought hard " well i guess they teach us that monsters love the dark " she said thinking that seemed like a good place to start.
