You could see a woman with a blue stone in her right hand screaming and writhing in pain. As you get close, the stones rip out of both of your hands and conjoin in a massive turquoise explosion. You both clutch your hands (which now basically have holes in them) and see that they have conjoined to form the bottom two points of a five-pointed star. By now, a massive crowd has amassed to see this odd magical spectacle. dozens of mages come forth, prepared to fight the conjoined gems. Suddenly, the stones shine brightly and heal your hands. You can hear words coming from the stone, like they're having a conversation.
What do you do?
She moved forward elegantly, trying to stand by or under the stones

The stones suddenly gasp as you approach. "Oh my gosh..." the green stone seems to say. "Lulu... I'm so sorry I did that to you. That must have been so painful. I just have one request: Please find the other 3 stones to complete us. I beg you. We beg you." The mages seem to be confused. The stone then turned to the other woman, "Alaine, I am so sorry. Please help Lulu..." Suddenly, the stones -- I mean, stone -- cllapsed onto the ground with a thud.

She took the stones and murmured something under her breath of reassurance and put it in her bag.

That shut her up (You go girl!!!). Alaine began to stammer, but sighed and began to follow you around.
Alaine has joined your party!!!
