I watch my father sleep for a moment before I grow bored and quietly climb from his grasp. I wander around the familiar cave for a bit before noticing a new crack, more like a tunnel, just large enough for me to got through. Curiousity wins over caution and I scramble into the tunnel, following it deeper into the mountain. It finally opens and I tumble into a large cave. In the center a dragon sleeps. I nervously approach.
"Hello?" I squeak, curious.

The giant dragon is in a deep slumber, but a wispy white eye opens

"How did you get here?" I ask, as there is no visible entrance to the cave besides the small tunnel I squeezed through.

"Hey king?" I bounded away from Sea Breeze, and stopped. "Am I a monster?" I look up at him, not in sadness, but in curiosity, wanting to know.

"Oh... that's new..." The dragon said, stretching her neck a bit "A thousand years can change the land, hm?"

"Of course not, you are simply different then the rest. And they may call you a monster simply out of fear and jealousy but they are wrong" I say.

I stare, mouth gaping.
"I didn't even know dragons lives that long" I gasp in amazement.

"Well, they really don't.." She laughed. "I, however, was placed under a curse."
