(Whoops! Sorry!)

Ember turned to face whoever spoke, knowing it wasn't A'ine by her voice. She was slightly surprised to see Jora there. "Hi," she said quietly, but not angrily. Her anger from earlier had faded somewhat. It was replaced by steel determination to make sure the others didn't see her cry.

Orion dove under, again, swimming with strong strokes out to the center of the lake. He turned and swam back as fast as he could. Then he looked for Jora. "Hey, where did Jora go?" he asked.

Jora looked at her concerned. "Take it from someone who can't, holding it in hurts more then just crying...." She said holding her arms tightly around her. "Why would you even want to cry? You have all of your friends." She said looking down.

A'ine came up for air after a few minutes and waved her head where her hair splashed back behind her head. "And where's Ember?" She asked looking at Mitch who had dived in.

Mitch looked at them. "Their talking. I don't think they want to be bothered." He said.

Ember managed a small smile and gently brushed her hand across Jora's shoulder to make sure she heard what she had to say. "So do you," she said gently. Despite how selfish it seemed, it helped to not be alone in her sadness.

"I suppose we'll let them talk," Orion said.

Jora looked back towards where everyone else was swimming. "Come on let's go back." She said keeping her arms crossed over her torso. She wasn't used to wearing a swimsuit. She was sure that she wasn't any prettier.

Alderic started getting more use to the water and dunked down his glasses still on. His head came up right away his hair wet shaking even more. "Remind me again why I'm here." He said jokingly to A'ine.

A'ine smiled to him. "You know why." She said her eyes moving toward where Orion was with his back turned to her.

Mitch couldn't help but laugh at the poor red-head. "This is nice in here. You don't know cold." He said swimming out next to A'ine.

Ember nodded. She swallowed and began to follow Jora. "Swimsuits are kinda uncomfortable, huh?" she commented, tugging at her swimsuit.

Orion turned around to look at Alderic. "C'mon, let's go out farther!" he said, swimming out toward Mitch and A'ine.

Jora shrugged. "This is only the second time I wore one..." She said walking faster hoping she wouldn't ask about it. Jora got to the edge of the water and froze, scared.

Alderic shook his head not believing them. He sighed and turned around seeing Jora with her arms wrapped so tightly around her that on might think she was tied that way. He slowly walked out toward her. "Hey you okay?" He asked still shaking with smiling charmingly at her.

A'ine shook her head and started swimming to shore to help Jora feel a bit more comfortable.... Hopefully, at least...

Ember stepped up beside Jora, looking at her worriedly. She took a step closer to Jora, hoping she could reassure her but not really knowing how.

Orion swam up beside Alderic. He smiled at her, not saying anything so he wouldn't overwhelm her. He stood up so he was waist-deep in the water.

A'ine sighed. With everyone over there she could feel Jora's fear heighten quite a bit. She was still fairly far away from the group.

Jora stiffened as Orion came over she slouched a little more staring at the ground.

Alderic might usually not have noticed Jora's change in her. She stiffened and her hands started shaking even though she tried to hide them. "Come on in Ember. Let's give Jora a chance to get use to the water." He said reaching out for the other girl's arm.

Mitch hadn't a clue what was happening to the girl. He really didn't know why all of her friends kept jumping around trying to make her more comfortable... Heck he didn't even know why she was uncomfortable around water in the first place.

"I can't swim either," Ember said to Alderic, but she walked in until she was up to her waist. She turned back to Jora. "The water's really nice," she said, trying to encourage Jora.

Orion nodded in agreement with Ember. "It just takes a bit of getting used to," he said.

Alderic barked a laugh as he kept shivering. "Yeah right." He said then he grabbed Ember's hand. "Come on, I can show you how to swim." He offered pulling her out a bit further.

A'ine finished swimming over. She touched Orion's arm and whispered. "You're making her nervous..." She said as she got washed over again with Jora's fear. A'ine walked over to the girl smiling. "The suit looks great on you." She said then held her hand out to the girl. "Come on, you can ride me if you'd like." She offered her eyes sparkling reassuringly.
