Luke shook his head weakly. "She still belongs to the lab." Sapphire tilted her head but started shaking a bit at the mention of the lab. He looked down to her. "And you do as well, Four."

"No," she said as sternly as she could manage. "They don't."

"They ran away, they are private property." he insisted. Saph whimpered a bit, getting scared. More scared that is. D was already stiff, peaking in hallways and checking screens.

"No. You're talking as if they're a piece of land. They're living, breathing, thinking creatures."

"Creatures. Exactly. Is a dog a person?" He said, struggling to fix his sitting position again. Sapphire sniffled, eyes saying she wasn't a dog.

"No, but they still have feelings. All animals do."

"But isn't your cat property of yours? Don't you want to keep your cat inside or dog inside?"

D turned and hissed at him, baring her fangs. "Do dogs need Chains?! Do dogs or cats need wires?!"

Sapphire whimpered, curling up away from the two.

Sapphire struggled off of Luke's lap as D got really upset, sparks started sputtering around her fangs in her anger. "Do you put metal chokers on your dog?! Do you taser your DOG?!" Luke glared at her, struggling to a weak stand only to be shoved down by the hybrid. "Diana-" "Don't call me that! You can't call me that! Not again, not ever!" She shot at him as he tried to reason with the hateful creature.
