"Yeah, I know," she said, her voice turning shaky

He grit his teeth as he fixed his sitting position, making sure not to drop Saph. Then he realized Saph was there. "Wait, then why is Four here?!" he gasped a little after speaking, pulling Saph close to his chest as if to keep her safe. "Where's DD?"

"D works here too."

"Diana Lucinda Breaker!" He rasped, looking quickly around and catching sight of D, she flinched under his gaze. "What did I say about choices back in the garden the third time?" She grumbled something animal like and he huffed painfully. "What was that? I think I heard a growl? Now now, you can talk young lady." She hissed, pupils slits.

"Don't yell at her," she told Luke. "She doesn't deserve it. If anything, you do."

He looked to Kate with still exhausted and pained eyes of navy blue. Actual navy blue. "And how do you make that assumption? She should have known better! And much better than to have run away!"

She shook her head. "Isn't that what you did? Coming to my house?"

"I had only planned on apologizing to her." He said, D huffed and coming over to him. She bopped him on the head and he huffed at her. "Hey, stay outta' this pet."

"She's not your pet."

"What, is she yours?" He said to her. Diana flinched, biting her lower lip as she quickly went back to watching the hallways. Saph looked up at Luke in confusion.
