Kate held Sapphire close, trying to comfort the tiny hatchling and herself

D stuck her tongue out at the robot. She didn't like him at all.

The little girl patted Kate gently with a hand, wanting to help her calm even though she was terrified and close to crying again.

The camera went to static for a moment and then he was gone.

And Kate felt bad, like she was taking advantage of the little girl

She huffed, then put the tablet down and went to check out the window.

Saph soon mustered up some courage and kept from crying, putting on and adorable brave little face.

Kate smiled just a little, but still felt really bad

Saph determinedly made a grabby grabby motion to the ground, she wanted down. Maybe Kate should just keep holding her, Saph probably could get into trouble.

Kate shook her head. If Sapphire went out into one of the hallways...

She could get easily scooped up and taken or hurt just by the sheer grip of an animatronic. She sighed, going limp with a little expression that said 'I wanna explore. If I know that there is no monster in the dark, then all will be well'.

But that was the thing. Many monsters could be waiting in the dark, just waiting to pounce

And she was so innocently wanting to prove to Kate and herself that it was safe. But soon she noticed sleeping Luke and reached toward the sleeping man.
