Micah whimpered softly, still not fully awake, but awake enough to know that he wasn't in the air anymore. Silvia climbed higher, determined to kill the Kiadn before it got away, and slashed at the creature once again.

Ray sits up, his injured wing already hurt from flying and not wanting to be squashed against the floor. His muscles locked up all along his back and wings. He bites back a yelp, only a muffled squeak of pain escaping. Ray was more concerned about Micah and checked him over to see if there were any wounds. He didn't know how he'd be able to help him if he was injured, but he didn't think about that.
The Kiadn's wing got sliced, and it stalled, unable to climb any higher. It fell, screeching loud enough to wake the dead.

Micah shot up when the Kiadn screeched, his eyes wide with fear. Silvia lost her balance and fell a few feet before grabbing onto a branch with one hand. She muffled a grunt of pain and looked down.
She was still up quite a bit, but she wasn't particularly scared- mostly, she was just angry that she was now playing the role of the pretty blonde girl who would need to be saved.
"Uh, guys! Help me!" She called down to the boys on the ground. "I'd like to not fall!"

Ray gets to his feet, wanting to help her. He was preparing himself to make another flight, but Riley decided that that wouldn't be necessary.
Riley climbed back up, not having gotten completely down yet. He reaches a point where he is under Silvia in a way that he could catch her if she fell.
"Silvia, I know it may sound weird, but I'm asking you to let go and fall." Riley says, positioning himself so he wouldn't fall once he caught her. He planned to set Silvia down on the branch when he caught her and not say anything. He didn't care if it was a damsel in distress or whatever, his friend was in trouble and once she was out of trouble, he would go his way.

"Are you insane!? You'll fall, and then we'll both be hurt! Maybe dead!" Silvia twisted to glare at Riley, feeling her grip on the branch weaken.
Micah looked up and saw Silvia, shakily getting to his feet. "Silvia, just trust him!"

Ray leans lightly on Micah, eyes glazing over somewhat. He blinks a few times and looks up at Silvia and Riley, hoping they would be fine. His wing wasn't going to hold if he had to fly again.
"Heh, I may be insane, but it looks like my mad method may be the only thing to do right now unless you can pull yourself up or you decide to hang there until your arm goes out. Be my guest to do that." Riley says.

Micah looked at Ray and frowned, examining Ray's wing. "Why, in the name of Olympus, would you do that?"
Silvia tried to pull herself up, but she had cut her arm on several branches as she fell, so she failed. She muttered something to herself, then sighed. "Alright. But if you drop me and I die, I will haunt you forever." She let go and fell towards Riley, bracing herself to hit the ground.

"Why would I do what?" Ray asks, shaking slightly. He looks at Micah, trying to pull his wings close to him so nothing would seem wrong.
Riley catches Silvia. He instantly pulls back to be closer to the trunk, which is the strongest part of the branch/tree. He lets Silvia down. "There you go. I guess you will have to wait to haunt me." He says, climbing down from the tree, ready to be out of it, grab his sword, and finish the Kiadn, which was trying to hop away

"Fly!" Micah said, sounding exasperated. "You flew, and now you're hurt again!"
Silvia climbs down the tree, pausing once she got to the ground to pull her hair into a ponytail. She went over to Micah and Ray, hugging Micah briefly then turning to watch Riley in case he needed help. No other reason- definitely not because she admired his fighting. Nope.

"So?! I had to fly. You would have gone splat!" Ray says, waving his arms around to illustrate what would have happened.
Riley challenges the large bird, which tries to peck at him and shoot him with their lasers. He dodges the first attack, gets grazed by the second, but the Kiadn didn't get to live to make a third attack as Riley finishes it. Riley grips his sword tightly as he watched the Kiadn turn to fire and then dust and disappear.
