Soon, the officers were taking a few shots at the car. At first nothing happened as the car had thick enough steel to take them.. but it hit a weak point and loud whining could be heard. Alister panicked and checked Princess.. a bullet had broken her hind left leg. He started to panic worse as he tried to make the bleeding stop- promising to the small yelping dog that she would be okay as he was nearly in tears.

Electa's knuckles went white as she floored it, flinging them back onto the highway and then down another back road

" It's gonna be alright Princess.. You are gonna be okay.. it's okay.. it's fine.. " Alisters voice was cracking but Princess had seemed to calm down just a tiny bit, whining a little but seeming to be okay.

She kept checking the mirrors for any sign of pursuit

Sudddenly a police car came flying towards them, sirens blaring.

Her eyes lingered in the rearview mirror. "We've got company," she muttered, going down back roads and spiderwebbing to try and lose the police

Alister was too lost in caring for Princess to even hear her- or anything. The police was gaining for a moment but was starting to lose them.. then they started to shoot again.
