"I marked you as mine." He shrugs. "It's a permanent mark that holds my scent, so any male or female that wants you can't have you." He states calmly.

"And I guess you did it several times to make sure?" , Zale asked sarcastically, still rubbing his sore neck. "Now I have several scars, most of them are because of my boyfriend." .

"Of course! I won't let anybody get near you." He snarls, snaking a hand around Zale's waist and pulling him closer.

"Aww, you know you are my pain in the neck." , He joked. "How could I leave you?" . Zale smiled at his pun. His ears turned red because of the sudden affection.

He kisses Zale's cheek. "I didn't want you running off to Ara, I needed you." He mumbles, looking down as he remembers it.

Zale grabbed his hands. "I was in a petty crush, Ara was out of my leuge. The both of you deserve someone better... ", He trailed off, looking at the wet sand. Zale bit his lip.

He growled, lifting Zales' chin and looking him in the eye. "I couldn't ask for somebody better than you." He states, his eyes holding truth.

Zale smiled a little, the monsters in his head have been playing with him again. He pecked Rei's lips, walking on. He crossed his arms, still feeling bad about his brother.
