Ray runs a hand through Jack's hair, before stopping and simply just holding Jack again. They didn't want to upset or disturb Jack.

Ray notices Jack is asleep and tries even harder not to disturb him. After a few moments, however, they take Jack carefully into their arms and placing him gently onto the cot, careful not to wake him up. Ray curls up on the floor at the foot of the cot and soon falls asleep themself.

Jack slept longer than usual, having a dream were Elias was still there.

That gave Ray enough time to wake up, buy some breakfast, and head back in time to watch Jack. ... Which is totally not creepy.

Ray hums cheerfully and smiles at Jack. They stand and offer some breakfast to Jack.
