Micah decided that the easiest way to wake Ray up would be to leave, so he got up, shaking Ray off of him, and grabbed his sword, running out of the cabin to find Silvia.
Silvia stabbed at the Kiadn as soon as it was within reach, making sure to get out of the way directly after so it couldn't attack her.

Riley glares at Ray one last time before heading after Micah. His sword stayed in its sheath until he needed it.
Ray whined and grasps weakly for Micah, but couldn't get a hold of him. He whimpers and curls into a ball, trying to warm himself up now that Micah was gone. He stays like this for a few minutes, at least two, before going out and sleepily stumbling in the direction Micah had gone. He was instantly alert, all former feelings of sleepiness disappearing when he hears the cawing of the Kiadn. "Ooh no." He mutters, racing to the sound. He did not do well with these monsters. He usually wasn't able to fight them at all, trying to just capture them in magic compartments and leaving them alone.
The Kiadn screeches and pulls out of its dive, hot lava type liquid running from it's new wound.

Micah found Silvia, halting beside her. "Hey."
"What the heck!? I asked for Ray!"
"Yeah, well he isn't waking up, so get over it! At least you can wound this one."
Silvia looked at the wound on the Kiadn and nodded. If she was panicking, or even slightly nervous, she was doing an excellent job of hiding it. "Be careful," she said to Micah. "It shoots lasers."
Micah groaned, muttering, "Of course."

Riley laughs, "I still don't know why you guys trust him." He pulls out his sword and watches the Kiadn, who was eyeing the whole group and feeling rather annoyed that the humans had multiplied.
The Kiadn seems to shrug before diving again, talons out to grab any one of the humans below. It aimed its lasers at them, deciding it would grab whom ever it didn't hit with the lasers.
Ray was fumbling with his spell to get the dagger spear out and so he stops trying. He didn't want to accidentally summon another monster. He notices that Micah, Silvia and Riley were in danger and comes to a stop, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves before chanting the correct words in order for the protective barrier to come up around them. Just in time, as the lasers bounce off it. Ray then continues to his friends, and enemies, trying his best not to look scared.
"I'm sorry." He says, apologizing for somehow having brought the monsters here.

Micah shrugged. "It's fine," he said, masking his nervousness.
Silvia frowns. "I was gonna stab it again," she huffed.

(Oh! Good luck with your... Wait you've already taken it. You should have let me wish you luck. :P)

"No, it's not 'fine'. Apology will be accepted once your stupidly almost completely undefeatable monsters stop popping up and threatening us!" Riley says, feeling about ready to stab Ray through and let him bleed to death.
Kiadn dives still, eyes locked on Micah. It's talons wrap around his middle and then its rising to the clouds again.

(Sorry, I didn't know about till I joined the zoom call XD I have a lot of tests to take today though- this morning I took a 40 question ela text, then a 14 question math test, and I have a science test coming up in about an hour. Also a history test tomorrow. I'm a bIt oVeRwHeLmEd *finger guns*)

That seemed to be the thing that broke Silvia, because she dropped her sword and covered her mouth with both hands, looking horrified.
Micah, having a horrible fear of heights, almost immediately passed out.

Ray backs away from Riley and looks up at Micah. He had promised Micah he wouldn't fly, but perhaps he would make an exception to this.
The Kiadn looks down and decides it can hold another human in it's talons, so it dove again. Ray hit the deck, but Riley was a little bit slow. One of his arms got caught in the Kiadn's talons. Riley switched the sword to his other hand and stabbed the Kiadn, wanting it to let go of him. Hopefully before they reached too big heights.

Silvia suddenly cursed, picking up her sword and climbing up a tree. As soon as she could, she stabbed at the Kiadn. "Put them down, you fiery little rat!"

The Kiadn squawks in surprise and drops Micah. It seems reluctant to let go of its last prey, but after Riley slices it's belly open, the Kiadn slams him against the trunk of the tree as it let go of him. It decided that its life was more important than having the mortals. Riley's sword was knocked from his grip, and he was having trouble regaining his breath. Riley barely manages to grab onto a branch and pull himself up. He glares down at Ray. "I swear I'm going to kill him." He mutters once he caught his breath and began to climb down.
Ray panics when he sees Micah fall. If Micah wasn't able to fly, he could go splat on the ground. Ray pushes himself off the ground and forces his wings to work, climbing into the sky before diving side long with Micah. If he had just stopped Micah's fall, it could hurt him just as much as hitting the ground would. Ray grabs Micah and pulls him close, leveling out of his dive and gliding low to the ground. After a few seconds, he allowed himself to crash, using his body to cushion the fall.
