D saw her tap her foot and she tapped her talon on the ground in a motion to copy her for a moment.

Kate noticed and smiled. She helped Diana into the car, and she got in after. The manager pulled down the metal bar that kept them in and started up the ride

Diana looked at the bar and for a moment seemed to remember her cell,but then she took in a deep breath and thought of her happy memory,then smiled again.

Kate was stiff from fear, her mouth clamped shut. She hated heights, but she was doing this for D, which mean she would tough it out

D noticed how Kate didn't seem to like this much and realized that she might be afraid of heights,as she had asked Diana. She carefully put a wing around her,trying to help her.
