Roots, Eyes, Fingernails, Mushrooms, Petals, and Thorns lie in a controlled pile next to an open book. They all look fairly intact.

I'd take the book incase I needed to write something down later on. I'd go on to look around the rest of the loft.

You look through each of them, examining every page closely. All are blank.

I'd swap the torn and stained book for a blank one. I'd head back down to the main area.

Quickly, you swap the books and head down the hay bales. Nothing has been moved while you were in the loft and a small breeze whistles through the holes of the barn creating a nice tune.
