Blue fell out of the tree and woke up. "Ouch... that hurt." She mumbled

I flew over the dew covered towns, arriving at the mine shaft my parents hid in. Them and their OTHER daughter. My parents rushed to fend me off, and in seconds, two shiny discs were embedded in their necks. I explored, finding a crumpled hallway. At first I thought it was a cave in, but I realized the stacks of rocks were made by talons. Tearing it down, a head poked out. "Hello." It was a dark blue dragonet, looking almost exactly like me. She didn't smile as she hopped out, walking to the entryway. With a gurgling sound coming from my mother, I saw she was still alive. Dying, but alive. "Run." She told the dragonet, who approached her and removed the disc. "Can't run from me now." Then she forced it into her neck, killing her in seconds. The dragonet looked up at me, and I noticed the dead look in her eyes. The eyes of someone without empathy. She was like me. I smiled at her, and she gave me an odd smile before hopping up on my back, much smaller than me, skinny, and ice cold. How dare my parents treat her like that.

She was perfect.

She could live in the castle with me.

And her name would be Eternity.

*Cyrus*

Even though I am deep in thoughts about Nightfang, I smile slightly as I sense the accomplishment of a mission, and an added bonus that I will be curious to know about.

"Hello," Eternity says. I bow, and she does so as well. "My lord, this is my sister, Eternity. She appears to share my.... Condition." Eternity looks up at Cyrus, giving him one of the smiles I am known to do. I notice with satisfaction she still has Mother's blood on her arms, and I brush my wing over her encouragingly.

*Cyrus*

I grin in an evil way.
"Welcome to the Kingdom my dear, I am sure you will feel.. welcome.. here" I grin again.

I smirk, knowing my sister will definitely feel... Welcome. "I killed Mommy," Eternity chirped. I patted her, smiling. "Good job Eternity."

*Cyrus*

I chuckle.
"Perfect!" I grin down at her smiling.

Blue looked back up at the tree. "I've had enough sleep for now..." she said with a yawn. She wandered around, tripping over something every few feet.

Eternity trots off to my rooms, and I grin at the king. "Something tells me she'll make a great addition. I'm going to get her settled in a bit, and then start to.. Train.. Her. If you wish, I would love if you would speak with her." Then I follow her out.

She finds a long string and puts an indigo bead on it, then makes it into a necklace. "I'm gonna add more when I make more dragons not live." She shows me the indigo bead proudly. Then she looked at the plants in one of my two rooms. She picks up some real flowers and started weaving them into wraps. In moments, she makes a crown and wrapped more over her wings.

We make her a little nest next to my bed, and I tell her when we went on a field trip we could get her more children's things, a small bed, a little dragonet-safe light. Maybe some scrolls. Nothing important. I grew up with stone cold walls, but I felt like I have to give her something special, since most of her life was spent without any light or warmth. But, despite this, I promise myself she would become a brilliant killer.
