Jora left her hair fall over her face on the side Orion was on. "The bluff isn't too steep, you'll learn to climb in no time!" She said then listened as Orion said something else. She didn't waste a second. "You don't need to lie to impress people. You had me impressed when you stopped me from running off." She said blushing to the window. She lifted up the drawing Orion had done of her. She wished she could look like that. It would have made her life easier to at least look normal. She wondered why she resembled a phoenix more then a chinese dragon. She was half of each after all.

Orion nodded. "I guess I just didn't want to take the chance. But what I did wasn't that impressive. I didn't really do much," he said, being truthful, not humble. If she thinks what I did was impressive, then what would she think if she knew that lots of the kids in my village would have followed her? Not that they ever followed me.... but still, they would at least make sure she was okay. He wondered if anyone besides her family had ever been nice to her.

Jora smiled a little to the window. "Yes, it was. I'm sure a lot of the people in that mess hall wouldn't have followed me and at least two didn't in the first place." She looked over to a tree outside the window. She thought for a bit then pulled her hair back behind her ear. "I thought it was a lot, the only other person to follow me has been my mom." She smiled at the thought of the time her mother followed her to the barn and made sure she was all right.

Two people didn't follow her.... Alderic?! Orion realized. "I'm glad I was there then, but I'm sure if not me, someone else would. And.... by two people, do you mean Alderic and someone else? You did look like you recognize him, and you would have rather not met him again," he said, hating to probe, but he was too curious.

Jora's hair fell over her face again as she looked out the window. She didn't want to tell Orion, she was scared he might be angry at Alderic. The red headed boy hadn't meant to make her cry, she was just a litte emotional about the whole thing. She swallowed air and stared out the window silent. (Sorry really can't think! I had a lousy day...)

"What did he do?" Orion asked softly, not because he was mad, but because he wanted to make sure Jora wasn't being teased already. It was bad enough at her home, but if it happened at school too? (Mine's even shorter. )

Jora kept looking out the window. "He didn't do anything. I'm the one who doesn't fit in anywhere. He was trying to be a different kind of nice but I didn't feel like it was actually as nice as it was." Jora smiled a little behind her hair. "He actually got scared of me I'm sure." Jora mentally slapped herself. She really need to stop telling all of this to Orion, he may understand but it wasn't the same. She did seem normal but she knew she wasn't she tried to figure out everything that made her different. Her parent's, her house, how she looked... The fireballs. the list was endless in her mind.

@everyone- Ooops I kinda forgot about this for a while! o.o sorry. But also I'mma be away for the next two weeks, but I promise to be more involved when I get back! :)

"Oh geez Ilandere that's terrible. I'm sorry you had to go through that," Keegan said to Ilandere, staring at her. No wonder she was scolding him for trying to get revenge, not that she or anyone else could stop him. "But you're safe now, that's the main thing. It never goes away but you're safe now," he tried reassuringly, hoping that his words would be mildly comforting. He awkwardly stared down at his hands, not knowing what else to say.

Haizea raised an eyebrow at Phinesa, coldly examining her. She didn't like it when people tried putting her in her place like that. "He is nothing to me," she abruptly stated before gathering her things and moving to the front of the room. Tadi ran his hand through his hair, wondering what his mother would say about his twin. She had awful manners! "Well that went well," he said morosely, wondering how things got so bad so quickly. "Ummm, sorry about that," he said to Phinesa, who he realised was just put in an awkward position.

Eniko breathed a sigh of relief to see the teacher had arrived, although grew tense to see that it was the mean looking one. "Oh he's scary," she whispered to Lily, not wanting to make too much noise in case it brought the teacher's attention to her. (Idk what else to do until marmar makes duskrade do something else, sorry!)

Ilandere smiled a little sadly. "Thank you for saying that... However, You are correct. It never goes away." She looked at Keegan. "But you did not listen to a word I said. You are still going to try and take your revenge." She knew the look her thought no one could see. It was a flame radiating from him as anger. "No one should have to try and avenge anyone." She looked down at her hands and remembered the night they were red with blood. She wrapped her arms around her rubbing her arms feeling cold.

Phinesa stared after the girl. "No, Tadi, you don't have to be sorry for anything I probably screwed it all up for you and your sister by butting in and saying my two cents." She stood up and smiled. "But when I mess stuff up I fix it." She winked at him and walked over to Haizea. She put her hands on the other girls desk and lend towards her a bit getting in her face. "Look that's the problem. He needs to be something to you. You need to get to know him. He can become your very best friend if you just try." She sighed and turned her head a little looking at nothing in particular. "I'm sorry about what I said but don't let my big mouth get in the way, he's your brother after all!"

Bella was surprised by Serene's question. Had she just asked her to help her finish her story? She was flattered! No one had asked that before.
Bella nodded excitedly. "Oh my, well I certainly would love to help you continue your story!" she said in a hushed whisper. "It sounds cool! I cant wait to help you on it. And no, I'm actually not busy." she said with a smile.
The pink-eyed girl turned and looked at A'eda'n. She gave him a small smile. "I wrote about this girl named Angelina. She is about our age, but she had this accident and now she doesn't remember who she is." she started. "After a year, she took her siblings, Rose and Jack, to the park. But when she takes a seat on the bench, a very familiar stranger walks up to her. His name is Anthony." she finished.

Corwin sighed and joined in the little conversation. "You guys finished?" he asked, leaning into his chair.
He liked this little friend group they had. It made him feel like someone special. After all, that's not what his parents thought about him.
