She had an expression that was either trying to be blank or struggling not to be hateful. She took Luke over and just about threw him in but she reluctantly laid him in the back seat, careful with his head as she lowered him down. Her golden eyes where hateful toward him, and it looked like she felt she'd get electrocuted again at just touching him.

Once she had laid him down, Kate made room for Sapphire to be buckled in. And then she buckled Saph in and gave D a tight hug. "Thank you."

Shaking still just the slightest, D hugged back almost desperately. She just gave a nod, she still feared Luke. Hated him, but feared him. She'd been a lot smaller when he'd tasered her, it was a nightmare of hers.
