Ajal laid back down when he smelled blood. He turned and saw a piece of the pylon was caught in his back. "Mind helping me out?'' He could barely whisper.

Knuckles nodded once and nudged Ajal slightly so he could get a better look at the metal. "....Alright. It's gonna hurt coming out, but try to relax. I'll make it quick..." He said, getting a firm grip on the shard.

(Got to admit he earned finally getting on the pylon.)
