Flashpelt exits the camp, fluffing his pelt against the brisk air. Today he would be searching for burnet - he had noticed the warriors slowing down, whether it be to hunger or sickness. They could use something to keep their strength up.
Nuzzling through the snow-laden undergrowth, he stays alert for smells outside of the bland, wet snow.
Sticking his muzzle between the roots of a tree, he breathes deeply. He just wants this leaf-bare to be over, but there's no sign of that anytime soon.

He lead her to a clearing that was full of moss and snow and a rock you could sun on. There was also a hollow tree.
