"Just try it already!" She took a piece and held it out to him. If he didn't take it, it was very likely that she would keep her word

Of course, he flinched back, lowering his head a bit but tentatively taking it. He still seemed not to keen on touching her, taking it in a way to avoid touching her hand with his own.

She didn't really mind. She was just glad they had pizza.
