"Uh.. Sure, if you want, but keep it down." She rested her hand on the hilt of her sword, continuing to walk and motioning for Janet and Austyn to follow.

And so, Austyn tells well known stories, but not exactly the way others had told them. For example, he could tell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, but from the beanstalk's perspective. Or something like that. He kept in all the important details, since the beanstalk was connected to the Giants place, it could hear the giant's rants, feel when Jack came down with his stolen goods -and when he cuts it down - and see what the marvelous things did to help the poor family. He was as quiet as he could be when excited.

Silvia listened as she looked around for a monster. Janet skipped along behind them, humming happily.

If you want a monster, life can throw a monster at you. As Riley was learning. Riley was currently running away from a Kiadn, the phoenix type creature that is super annoying. He nearly runs right into Austyn.
"Hi! Nice meeting you he-" Austyn was interrupted by Riley.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Another unknown creature that is so annoying! I suggest we find Ray to get rid of the creature because he seems to know so much about these things. Perhaps the creature can get rid of him." Riley adds the last sentence out loud on accident.

Janet shrieked when she saw the monster and ran towards camp, repeatedly tripping over roots. Silvia drew her sword. "Everyone go! Riley, go find Ray, Austyn you make sure Janet gets somewhere safe!"

Austyn salutes and runs after Janet, scooping her up when she fell and going to somewhere he hoped was safe from... Whatever that fire bird was.
Riley nods and runs away. It was hard to tell who was faster, Austyn or Riley - but then Austyn gathered Janet in his arms and Riley became the faster one. Riley bursts into the Demeter cabin and freezes when he sees Ray and Micah. Ray had scooted towards Micah and was hugging him. "Oh come on. Wake up!" Riley says from beside the bed. Ray slept on. Riley tries to drag Ray out of the bed, but Ray whimpers slightly and holds onto Micah tightly, pulling himself out of Riley's grip. "Why did Silvia send me out of all people to wake Ray to warn him of a monster?" Riley mutters, trying to think of something else to wake Ray up.

Micah opened one eye, saw Riley, and attempted to sit up, blinking a few times as an attempt to wake himself up. "What's going on?"
Silvia moved so she was in an area that she could fight better at, leveling the sword so she could attack the creature if it got any closer.

"I don't understand why after Ray comes to our camp we get attacked by strange monsters that seem really out for blood. It's not fair! Ray could have and should have kept his monsters to himself." Riley says, "Maybe you'll have better luck to try and wake Ray. But quickly because Silvia is confronting the creature right now." Ray had latched onto Micah like a baby koala clings to its mother. He wasn't about to let go. He was light enough for Micah to sit up with, but he still didn't wake up.
The Kiadn shrieks and settles on a branch, tilting its head as it eyes Silvia with eyes of molten gold. It doesn't seem to blink. Pow! The ground next to Silvia seems to explode as the Kiadn barely misses Silvia with its amazing laser powers. The Kiadn sqawks in dismay and fluffs its feathers, opening its flaming wings to take to the sky to try another direction. Perhaps it would be more successful from that angle.

Micah's eyes widened and he shook Ray. "Ray! You need to wake up, another creature is attacking camp! It's attacking Silvia!"
Silvia sidesteps away from the new hole in the ground, tracking the Kiadn with her eyes and staying tense, ready to get out of the way quickly.

Ray moans softly before pleading, "Five more minutes." He pulls himself closer to Micah so he wouldn't be able to be shaken by... whomever was shaking him. He wasn't looking to check.
Riley growls and tries to pry Ray away from Micah. Why did Ray have to be the way he was?
The Kiadn switches the weight from talon to talon before attempting to shoot her again. Again, a near miss. It screeches angrily and decides to dive at Silvia with the intent of picking her up and then dropping her from a great height.
