It was just what the two knew, so Saph was the only one that felt a little sad about it now. D was losing her memories of her mother and memories of her mother speaking of her father. But it made it so that she wasn't really sad about it, just barely curious if her father is still out there.

It was very possible. But it would be pretty hard to find her father if she didn't remember him.

True, oh so true. He had been forced to leave the two girls only a few weeks after D had been born.

Maybe, but all he knew was that when he'd gotten back was that his wife had ... had a problem and was gone, and that something horrible had taken his dear little girl away.

Yes, he'd been right there for D's mother when Diana had been born. He'd helped the whole way.
