"I'd prefer defense." I respond, pulling the staff out.

"Yep!" I said with a smile. I looked at the bracelet and tapped an amethyst curiously before looking up at Nova again as I followed her. "How does it do that?"

Nova pulls hers out. "A staff," she says, "is a good weapon for defense, attacking, or magic using. I will teach you basic moves. copy me." She flips into a fighting position, then takes her staff out. She jabs it in the air.

The stars seem to flicker and twinkle as you watch. "I see you noticed my 'collection'." A lioness with stars on her pelt comes in.

"The amethyst, I have no idea how, is able to conjure that magic. Now you can hear all Sylesties around you." Nova says.
