Aqua laughed at Mysterium saying hi to Squggy. She reached another paw in the water and tried getting the tenticle Squggy had on her off. " She's in a clingy mood today! " she joked as she struggled to get the suckers off her.

Clingy? "Is Squggy sticky?" She asked. She couldn't think of anything else that would make Squggy cling on o stuff.

Aqua shook her head. " No, You see Squggy's legs? They are called tenticles and they have things called suckers on them, they are like little hands...but at the very center is this beak like Fire's only much much sharper and more dangerous, don't put you paw anywhere near it's beak... " she said, warning her of the beak that could easily bite her paw off.
" But I doupt you have to worry about that...Squggy is very friendly " she said, hoping she didn't scare her.

"Okay." She said. She was a bit nervous when Aqua said about the sharp beak, but felt better when she was told Squggy was friendly. "Does Squggy eat mouse?" She asked. In her mind: Beak=Mouse=Eat.

Aqua shook her head. " No, Squggy can't stand mice or anything like that...she only eats small fish and crabs and lobsters... " Aqua said, finally able to get the tenticle off her.
Squggy then tiredly moved across the bottom of the pond towards a red crab that wasn't very big.
" Oh look! " Aqua said. " Looks like Squggy's hungry! "
Squggy's body then changed changed to the colours of the floor of the pond, blending in very well.

"Oh." She said. She watched th squid in amazement. "How did Squggy change colors?" She asked, eyes wide in bewilderment.

" Well Squggy is slightly magical so she can do that... " Aqua said, assuming she was magical...how else could she change colour?
Squggy then lurched forward and smothered the crab with her body. Scraping sounds and cracking was heard behind Squggy's body.
" That's the sound she makes when eatting " Aqua said. " Isn't very nice is it? "

Mysterium nodded in agreement. "Sounds weird." She said. She watched Squggy eat the crab. Wow! Squid were great! At least friendly squids.

Aqua smiled and laughed. She then looked at Fire and then back at Mysterium. " Mysterium, how about we go meet some ryories your age? " she asked her, smiling. She could take her to the nursery...there would be lots of ryori there!

Firecry shrugged. "Sure." Mysterium said, hopping up and don. Would the hatchlings in the hatchery be bigger than her? Would they be nice?
