Riley hushes Silvia and decides to ignore the question, trying to continue on without leaving Silvia behind. Ray was annoying in so many ways. Ray was taking Micah! And nobody found this as a possible way the monsters were using to weaken their forces. Ray knew a whole lot. And Riley was still determined to get revenge for what he had said earlier. He'd have to do it before Ray left.

"Fine. See you later." Riley says, folding his arms as well as he continues his silent fuming. He didn't need Silvia, he really didn't, and so he could deal with finding and slaying a monster all by himself. He couldn't believe Silvia and Micah and Austyn and all the rest didn't seem to even once think about how dangerous Ray was. He appeared one day, the next unknown monsters popped up that only he knew how to fight. Explain to Riley how that doesn't look like what be claims it is!

Silvia ventured off the path, ducking underneath some branches. She heard a branch snap to her left and she drew her sword, turning quickly, only to see Janet staring at the tip of her sword nervously.
Silvia quickly sheathed her sword. "Hey, darling. What are you doing?"
Janet shrugged. "Exploring," she said simply, smiling.

Austyn was bouncing after Janet. "Hey! We have enough for a game of hide and seek or something." He was the most energetic and happy puppy ever, cheerfully following his friend's heels and always asking to play.

Austyn pouts before beaming. "Ok! Have fun in hunting a monster. Yeah, Riley is hard to get along with, but I'm sure there's a way to do so. I don't get half of what he thinks or believes, but that's ok. We're different people with different stories. Speaking of stories I can tell you a few."
