"i-im fine." she says shaking looking around

Warren's asleep, leaning in a sitting position against a worn tree stump a few yards away.

The shadow backs up and just sits there, seeming content with that.

she picks up warren struggling "come on put some effort into it." she hisses

Flowing over, the shadow positions itself under Warren. It rises up, easily holding his weight.

"we have to keep moving we dont known if they are following." she said stareing straight ahead

The shadow doesn't say anything because. . .well, it's just a blob of darkness. It moves forward, still cradling Warren above its main body. Any stones or roots in its way, it merely ripples over.

she grits her teeth her vision blurring.

You hear a sharp crack, and a small hole is blasted into the ground just in front of you.

The shadow shifts in front of you and raises slightly, holding Warren behind it. Is the blob trying to protect you?

she panics and yanks warren not relising that he was heavier then her and he falls on top of her.

Warren grunts, but remains unconscious. His eyes are open to slices, and his crystal eye is glowing dimly.

A tendril breaks from the shadow and takes Warren by the arm, and lifts him so you can get up.
