"What about near the edge of the grounds? Did you hear anything about the school ground limits?"m he asked, wanting to be alone so people wouldn't see what they were drawing and because he didn't want to talk to more people than he had to. Having one friend was good enough for him. "Two's a company, three's a crowd," he murmured to himself, not caring if Jora overheard. "Are you still okay if I draw you in your monster form? You don't have to say yes," he said, wanting to make sure he wasn't asking her to do something to far outside her comfort zone.

Jora waited for Orion to finish asking questions. She decided to start with the last one. "Yeah. I shouldn't mind at all because it's what I really look like but..." She trailed of sighing a little. She then answered the other ones. "Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the mountains but it might also be somewhere in the woods." She smiled turning to look at him. "There was a small bluff on top of a cliff I saw on the way in. It looked like it had a nice angle for drawing the school."

Serene looked up as she saw A'eda'n asked her about what she wrote. Then Bella started joining the conversation as well. She smiled at both of them. "I don't normally write much, but the story I wrote is a keeper to me." she started. "It's about a young pegasus named Arienna. She crashed down into some strange woods that she has never seen before. Her wing is broken, and she has no other way getting back. But all she knows is that she's being watched." she said. She turned to Bella. "When we get our sheets back, I was hoping if you could help me finish my story." Serene twirled her black hair. "I mean, I know you're busy probably, but if you have time." she said.

Celeste smiled back at Alderic, who stood up and handed in his paper. She glanced around the room. It seemed like most students were finished.

Josh laughed when she had said she sounded boring. He looked at her with playful eyebrows. "Mmhm..." he started, which made Azura have a hint of hurt in her eyes. Josh felt bad for doing so and continued. "Nah. I don't play any musical instruments, but hearing people play them gets me going." he said with optimism. "I mean, how do they have so little time of doing it, but then suddenly they are? I couldn't be patient enough to learn how to play something." he said.
His friends at the orphanage had played a whole bunch of instruments. Even Penny played a little clarinet. He smiled to himself when he first saw Penny play the clarinet. That time the two were younger, and hadn't even met yet. That was when he had a little crush on her. But the two only became friends. He turned to Azura, who looked like she was going to speak.

Azura laughed. She had never met anyone who questioned about music. "It's called practice." she said, exaggerating the last word. "All you need to do is, yes, be patient. I started playing in my childhood stage. The reason why I wasn't cranky or impatient to be learning it, because I wanted to learn it."
Azura combed her blue hair with her delicate fingers. "You probably wont even bother trying to learn how to play an instrument if you don't want to learn." she said again, looking at Josh. His tropical blue eyes attracted her. She laughed, getting used to Josh's company. "It's either that, or you're just plain lazy. No offense if you are." she said, giggling.

Asher took her hand for the shake, his fingers over her own. "Hello Penny. I'm Asher." he said, flashing a goofy grin. "Alright, what do you wanna talk about?" he said again. "I mean, if we're going to talk, we need a topic."
He sat back in his chair, relaxed. He ran his hand through his pale blonde hair. A yawn escaped his mouth. He used his hand to cover the 'o' shape his mouth made. He stretched out his arms. Giving a quick glance at his teacher, who was at his desk, and then the clock, he spoke again to Penelope. "Hey, shouldn't class be starting?" he asked, as if a question mark appeared above his head.

Penny smiled when he took her hand. He seemed the nice type. "Why hello, Asher." she said, giving him a nod. She placed her soft fingers on her lips, which were stained with light pink lipstick, overtopped with lip gloss. "Oh... I don't know. I just wanted to talk to someone... I didn't have a topic in mind." she said, removing her fingers from her lips. "Uh... How about we just get to know each other?" she said, the last sentence sounding more like a question. "I'm a bunny, as you can see," Penny pointed up at her ears. "But I'm a moon rabbit. Most people don't know what that is though..." she said with a soft giggle.
Waiting for a reply from Asher, she too, glanced at the clock. He spoke to her again, and she nodded. "Yes, believe it should be starting now... But not our problem, right?" she chuckled, being another her.

A'eda'n smiled. "That sounds like a good one. Mine's just stupid and short but A'ine might like to read yours. I know what she wrote about though." He tapped his foot for a few seconds of quiet. "You and A'ine should exchange stories, I think she'd like to talk to someone about writing beside incompetent me." He said smiling knowing it was true. He looked at Bella. "What did you write about Bella?"

"Okay, then the bluff it is," said Orion. "Where is the bluff?" he asked, wanting to make sure he could get there if Jora wasn't with him. He stood up and walked over to the window. "Could you see it from here?" he asked, He made several mental notes about the area around the school before turning to face Jora. He leaned against the window sill, not returning to his seat so she could point out the bluff if it was visible from the window.

Jora stood up and looked out the window. "I can't tell if I'm looking at it or not. It's right next to the road to the front entrance..." She looked at the clouds and the rays shining through them, it was her favorite thing to draw. Her hair fell in front of her face and she pushed it back behind her ear. "So Orion, do you like to climb?" She asked hoping he did. She had no intention of flying to the top and it looked like an easy climb compared to her usual climb to get to her house from the human village. She put her elbows on the sill and put her chin on her hands still looking out the window at the sky.

"I like to climb trees, but I think you're talking about rocks," said Orion, glancing longingly at the trees in the school grounds. Then he turned his gaze to the mountains and the rocks covering them. "I'm not so sure about rock climbing though... There's always a first time though! I could try it, but I'm not promising I'll be any good. I guess it can't be too different from tree climbing, right?" he asked. Truefully, he was scared to climb. The highest he had ever climbed was in a tree, where it was sheltered by the branches. However a rock face was very open.

Jora tried not to look too disappointed when Orion Said something about not being too good at climbing. "Yeah I'm talking about rocks and don't worry about it, I almost expect no one is as good at it as I am. I spent a long time climbing up a mountain only to climb down it the next day." She said thinking of all the times she had climbed up it. She eventually got so good at it that she had to take a different route to have enough time to think about stuff and get a decent break from all the words and pranks. "No it's not too different but I think trees are a little easier, you have a better way to guess if the branch will break than if the rock with shift..." She trailed off realizing she might be boring Orion. Climbing was great and all but painting was the only thing that she really loved to do.

"That's not always true though. Some trees can look really healthy and have thick branches, but the branches are rotten inside so they break when you step on them and there's no way of telling if they're rotten or not. I think rocks are harder over all though. The trees in my village were really tall so I climbed them all the time to draw. One time, I got stuck in one in a storm. Call me weird, but I actually enjoyed it. Rocks, well, I never got a chance to climb them since we weren't allowed to leave the valley or climb up it's walls until we were older. Sorry, I was kind of rambling," he said, remembering the time when he was in the tree during the storm. The tree had been swaying wildly, and, being one of the tallest trees in the valley, Orion could see the whole valley from his perch at the top. He could have easily flown down, or even climbed, but he had decided to stay.
