Knuckles sighed and looked at the ground. "Sorry. Went on a rant there."

"I'm the one who should be apologizing I said that stuff. Luna and Ganz are right I'm insensitive, hard headed, and a bunch of other stuff." Ajal tried to apologize.

Knux shurgged. "No, I get it. You wouldn't be the only one accused of that..." He remarked. Awkward scilence ruled for a moment....

"At least you have you have never been accused of running from a fight." Ajal thought back to last night.

Knuckles shrugged. "I was trained not to. I'm not scared of dying," He said simply.

Ajal nodded thinking himself a coward.

"Don't worry about it. Took me years to master that. Keep that lemur off your back if you can," Knuckles added.

Ajal eyed the lemur. "It's not that I'm scared it's just when the odds are impossible I'll run. Last night was one of those nights."

The echidna dipped his head, understanding. "Hey. You're okay. Look, if your life is anything like mine, when odds seem impossible... Something nuts happens and saves your butt. In my experiance, anyway."
