Kate was never far behind.

She came to the top and peaked over the edge of the one going down,eyes wide with wonder at the movement. "Woah...moving....on...own." She said,smiling fangs and all.

"Yeah. I assume that you've never seen a treadmill before, but it kind of works like that. A belt keeps it moving."

"Belt....Belt." She repeated,tilting her head a bit. She looked at how it seemed to shape into steps and seemed memorized by how it was flat but then as it moved became steps then as it came to the end flat again.

"Step on it," Kate prompted softly

D looked to Kate,then to the moving steps. She then looked down at her talons and stepped toward it,inching on a bit and then wings spreading a bit as she put her arms out to her sides as she swayed. It moved her forward and she eeped and tried to move back up as it took her down.

Kate was right behind her, smiling. "What do you think?"

"M-Moving!" She said,reaching toward Kate as her wings avoided the also moving handles besides them.

Kate steadied her. "Yup. Instead of having to take the stairs, you can ride this instead."

She carefully parted her talons for balanced and smiled thankfully to Kate.
