Blue gently picked up the pup and put her on the nest. She then retrieved the cobwebs and herbs. After applying the herbs to the pups wound, she covered it with a cobweb. She walked back over to Newmoon. We should let the pup rest here for now. When she is healed, I will find a wolf willing to take care of her till she is old enough to train. she said in a hushed tone so the pup couldnt hear. She wished she could return it to its true mother, but knew that the alpha wouldnt take kindly to it, especially after the incident several days ago.

Are you sure Newmoon? Taking care of a pup is a lot of work. Blue said. She looked somewhat concerned.

If you say so. Blue said. She smiled. She didnt express it, but was surprised by Newmoons response. He had always been quiet and she couldnt really see him raising a pup. Still, he seemed to care about the pup and she wasnt going to take this from him. She could always step in if things went wrong.
