Alice hurries along, not wanting anyone to know what she was doing by the pier as she heads towards her childhood doctor's home, watching from afar in case any other patients were here.

"Ahh, i'm usually doing laundry and don't go near the front of the church during service days, last time that happened someone berated me for being Irish," she sighs, "So what brings you back here?"

"Shes hungry, I-I don't have enough money to feed her and well as my family, I was wondering if the church had any spare bread left over? Even a crust will do" Henrietta looked ashamed, or worried, "I can work if it means they'll be fed"
