Storm
I take off in a direction I knew that would keep us deep within the mountain where we wouldn't be affected, but would also take us downward. This time of year is wintery, so the forests would be cold enough for me to survive in without the bone crushing snow that could occasionally just fall on our heads. However, the shaking and downhill sprint is a lot for my recovering paws to handle, and I end up toppling head over heels down the tunnel.

Lucent


I'd be running behind her, i would feel the cave start to go in a downward's slope, then i would see storm topple. My paws would glow and i would run in front of her, catching and stopping her, using my wings for support. "Are you alright?" I'd look down at her.

Storm
I shiver, but then pull myself together, not allowing the fears to overcome me this time. Determined to be strong,
"Yes, thanks for saving me Lucent, I don't know what I would do without you." I purr, nuzzling him behind the ear. "Maybe we should take it slow from here though?" I ask, eyeing the pebbles beside us that are trembling as million pounds of rock is falling above us outside the safety of the tunnel.

I stand up, but staying close. I brace myself against the shaking, trying to find a center gravity as I relax my paws and unleash my claws to help grip the cave floor.

Lucent



I'd look at storm, seeing she was having trouble gripping the floor against the vibrations. "Let me help you." I'd wrap my wing around her, and i'd guide her, walking slowly walking deeper into the cave.

Storm
"We'll make a good team." I purr, testing each next step before I use it to support all my body weight. I cautiously place one paw after another, and it's a good thing I did because one bit of rock crumbles in front of us. "This isn't good..." I say, and glance over my shoulder to see the ceiling closing in behind us. "We will have to jump." I try to keep a calm mind, hoping from the bottom of my heart that this is the only faulty part of the tunnel floor. "Are you ready?"

Lucent



I'd wince, feeling my wings retaliate against me using them. I'd make my face back to normal, and i would get over the pain rather quickly. "Whenever your ready, i will follow." I'd unwrap my wing, waiting for her action before i do anything.

Storm
I nod, and leap forward as far as I can, only to be overtaken by fear as the ground gives way and I find myself flailing for a hold. I fall through pitch black, landing in icy water where I struggle to get back to the surface. My heavy fur drags me down to the lake bottom so I crawl in one direction, hoping I will find the bank before I run out of breath.

Lucent



I would follow behind her, and i will be the same as Storm, falling through the pitch black abyss. I'd land in some sort of water. What is this...? But it feels nice... I'd look around underwater, seeing that it had a blue-ish hue. Natural Springs...? Hmm. I better swim up and then think. I'd swim up and burst out of the water, gasping for air.

Storm
To my great relief, I find where the drop off ends and use it to push myself up toward the surface. When I finally get out of the water, I collapse on the bank to catch my breath, fur sleek from being wet, the lavender shine brighter in the dark. I lay there pitifully with every paw going in a different direction, mostly upset about being wet. I am a cat after all, and what cat likes being trapped underwater without knowing how to swim?

Lucent


I would see the cave around me, having a purple hue across the walls. I'd look around for storm and see her on the ground, i'd swim over and get out, laying down next to storm. "You alright love?" I'd nudge her and lick her cheek, putting a wing over her.
