He wasnt around for the massive spread that wiped out the arial (presumably), but hes read more than enough history books to know how deadly it is. Theres stories of the sickness malfunctioning and becoming so acidic it burns though bodies. Theres stories of people going mad and killing others, spreading it further in the process. Theres stories of it even felling leaders within days of them catching it. It killed one of the most powerful queens in history, and destroyed the arial generals mind so badly he started a war mere hours before death. This isnt exactly a very safe sickness.

He also knows that it comes in bursts. Something to do with hormones which need time to be remade. Meaning hopefully, soon the pain will be over for a while for her.

,, Yeah, I know. ,, She replies flatly. ,, But what happened? Felt like I passed out for a minute. ,, From what little he remembers, they dont always remember the bursts. The pain is apparently so bad their brain practically stops, including the memory parts.
