Yeup. And if she'd failed the attempt she would have been chained worse and then had a shocker collar put on. Tight.

Sure wasn't. And there had been spikes and barbs on the inside of the cuffs and so she got hurt every time she moved.

Especially with them along her hind legs, tail, arms and wings. And that thing around her throat that had left the scar, well it had been awful heavy and stayed there for a long time.

She would have just had ropes. Ropes coated in a small layer of metal. Just enough so she couldn't break them. But they would have kept her as fresh and healthy a specimen as possible.
