"Acorn is there? My wishing friend," Silk confirmed again, a goofy grin on her face, "Oh, how I missed her! Do you think she'll grant me a wish if I ask?"

Abyss was confused on what his sister was talking about.

"They don't know," Latte said, "She's a rare secret species after all."

"Oh... right! Acorn is a breed of wishing animals with the ability to grant wishes and help you see the dead and stuff. She's amazing," Silk said smiling sheepishly.

"Oh." Abyss said.

Jasper was too tired to verbally respond.

"Can I tease you about the crush you have on her," Chikatu cut in as Silk's face went red, "Or do you not want to tell your half brother?"

Jasper lifted a finger and said one thing. "Ha."

Abyss gently flicked Jaspers ear, getting a small giggle from the hybrid.

Silk looked away, embarrassed. She hurried ahead, having totally no idea where she was going.
"We are here," Latte stopped next to an abondaned house, pointing at it, "Shall I go first?"
"You have to go first your the only one that can open it," Chikatu retorted as Latte stuck his tongue out at her.

Abyss stopped, seeming to feel just a tad bad about his sister being embarrassed.

Jasper looked like he couldn't really see what was going on around.

Latte smiled, walking forward. He placed his hand on the wall as a glowing doorway appeared. Inside was a huge library. It seemed to go on forever, the shelves reaching so high it looked like they touched the sky. There where floating balls of light that lit up everything and candles that floated.

Abyss 'ooed' softly.

Jasper didn't seem to realize what all of it was.
