Kris watched Carter go and felt bad, something he had forgotten how to feel.

(oop probably should have been more specific on that one i was refering to the part where he suddenly knew that candy was imortal but didnt know why)

"CANDY!?" siren immediatly stops and jumps in after her.

(You: Explains that Hayden says Candy is immortal
Also You: Candy! *Chucks Siren in life threatening situation*)

Candy watched Siren come after her. She was of course perfectly okay, but she knew that Siren was not. Swimming forward she pushed Siren back on the ice, shaking her wet wool. She started to shiver and curled on top of Siren.

Hope watched Carter leave, "You know he and Hayden are very alike. They both lost someone... Hayden his whole family, Carter his brother. They feel like they will be nothing and feel useless."

"He...lost his brother?" He said softly, now he felt a heavy guilt in the pit of his stomach, something he hadn't felt for years.

"Yes, I saw it in his past. I suggest being careful around them, it's like trying to hold a shard of glass," She turned away, leaving Kris with fake Lazi.
"Hello," She said in a friendly manner.

He sighed, running both hands through his blond hair. "...hi..."

"SIREN! Are you okay?" Kenzie says, skidding on the ice until they came to a stop next to Siren. "You fool," they say in a strangely affectionate way, pulling Siren into a hug to warm her up, "Candy is immortal. You are mortal. Candy can care for themself. I don't want you to die because of hypothermia or drowning or both."
The lake was sort of frozen and the water would be cold, so it makes sense that Kenzie wants to warm Siren up.

Fake Lazi smiled as she pointed to his pocket, "Remember the potion," She said before walking away, leaving Kris by himself.

Candy made a small noise, probably agreeing with Kenzie. She nudged Siren gentle and rubbed her fur against Siren, trying to warm her up.

Kris looks down and pulls it out of his pocket. He sighed, gripping it in his palm. He didn't know what it was for, but he had a feeling he'd need it. Or at least that someone in their group would.

(also sorry about suddenly being gone it's almost my birthday and ive been doing a lot of homeworkto catch up so I can do nothing that day.)

"I have ice powers, I literally freeze my own paws everyday, I'm pretty immune to cold." Siren says sarcastically, trying not to pout at her probably-life-risking-attempt-to-help-somebody-she-knew-is-immortal.
