Gadget stepped into a larger room with targets, mirriors, and the like. He opened the case and took out the wispon he just finished talking about. He cocked it, causeing the arms to extend out. "Now all we need is Scarlet-- That's our resident Eagle Wisp, by the way,"

Val nodded and looked at the device, her mother was an inventor and mechanic, but Val didn't know a thing about mechanics unless you were talking about a gun or wispon, but a crossbow was knew to her.

Gadget waited a moment, and eventually the sleek Wisp glided easily into the room. The wolf tapped his foot once. "About time you got here. Come on then, let's show Val here what you can do,"

Scarlet dipped her head once, and went into the crossbow, causing the tips of the arms to glow slightly. Gadget nodded and aimed the weapon at a target. "All you gotta do is steady yourself, aim, and pull the trigger like so..." As he did so, a red bolt of energy surged forward, tearing a clean hole in the paper bullseye. Gadget grinned. "Wanna give it a shot?"

Val was surprised by this, she nodded eagerly taking the weapon, she held it with one hand and easily shot the bullseye, it hit the middle perfectly.

Gadget waved his tail and nodded once, impressed. "Nice shot, kid! You sure you haven't done this before?"

Val smirked, "I've mastered a lot of weapons, I've never handled a crossbow, but it's like a gun and wispon, aim and fire." she said putting a hole in another bullseye, she had looked into a mirror to aim without looking directly at the target.

Gadget nodded. "You can keep that, If you want. The company kinda overstocked, and it suits you. Besides, Scarlet wants to see some action,"

Val smiled, "Thanks, got anything so that I can have this on my back?" she asked.

Gadget nodded. "I'll grab that and the communicators. Why don't you go ahead and see how Holter and Shadow are doing?"

Val nodded and went where Holter and Shadow were, she held her new weapon propped against her shoulder.
