(Sorry, it's name is Yumi. Now you can choose it's gender but, they are the desendants of the 13 original kitsunes, so they have their names)( You got Yumi, the mountain kitsune)

(Oh, I know! Tamago is the Japanese word for Egg, and seeing as this is fairly-Japanese based, I guessed we could speak Japanese.)

It breaks open, and two furry white ears poke out. You lift it out of the shell and see it's mahogany runes look somewhat like a music staff with whole notes spattered across. He/She (you choose) looks up at you with doeful eyes. It starts humming again a song that seems familiar, but you can't quite place it. (Also, how did you know it's name? ;) ))

(Ah sorry, wasn't paying attention to the word!) The egg breaks open in your arms. Out pokes two fluffy ears, with lynx like tufts on the top. He/She (you pick gender) looks at you with determined eyes, like he/she is going to climb Mount Everest.(I suggest he, but that's just me) His/Her runes go from brown to a purplish white.

Wild smiled at it, holding out a hand. "Konichiwa.." They said softly, looking at it.

The egg hatches! Inside you see a small, black head turn to look at you. It's eyes are a glimmering violet, looking at you. It's runes are purplish white, running down it's back and curling on its forehead. It's has sliver sparkles in it's fur like coal dust
