Kat stared off into the distance. the full moon was days away, and she was not very enthusiastic about it.
She felt a presence, something different than usual. She was being followed. Kat turned around to look behind her, but saw nothing.

Elizabeth froze. Had the girl noticed her? Maybe, but she couldn't see her... could she? Elizabeth tried to still her pounding heart.

Kat casted her senses out, listening... She heard a heart beating rapidly behind her. she whirled around.
"What do you want?" she growled at the shadows.

Elizabeth was surprised. She had noticed her... but how? She MUST be an Enhanced. How else could she possibly notice me? She was impressed enough enough to step out of the shadows, grinning from ear to ear. "You noticed me!" She said brightly, like that was her goal all along. Still grinning, her perky tone darkened to something more fitting of a shadow monster. "How?"
