"Did you hear what Duke said! They are killing puppies! They are killing the future of all dogs! I can't just sit around and sleep!" Hope growled.

Jackie noticed Katana flee from the conversation and followed after her.

She made herself known, "Katana, want to talk about it? I know Sam can be a bit callous at times."

" It wasn't Sam, I just felt ....." She stopped shaking her head changing her words " I just didn't want to hear about it, Duke could babble on about it all day" She said before looking at the alleyway where they had found Charlie, she could see Two men in the alley and she froze her eyes locked on them

Sam's voice raised up another volume, getting the attention of not only the other animals, but the humans' as well, "I heard Duke just fine! That's true! But you can't just go running in and think you can save everyone! That's a fool's dream! If you attract attention to yourself in the Lab, you'll only cause their deaths! They have zero qualms of punishing one by punishing all!

"Sometimes you have to endure those conversations. It's something Sam does all the time, despite loathing it beyond belief," Jackie sighed, then noticing that Katana had gone stiff.

"Kat? What's wrong?" she asked, before looking up and seeing the two men, "Ah, butterbiscuits! Hide, quickly now!"

Katana Stood Frozen In place.... these were the guys that almost killed Charlie...they almost took away the one person who had ever cared about her, She could feel that tingling feeling again, but she almost didn't want to stop it, she almost wanted to just let It Kill them....

Jackie, not liking the look on Katana's face, did the one thing that always got someone's attention, the one thing she promised to do for Sam whenever he lost it.

She wacked the other across the face harshly, claws extended to the fullest.

Her strike had left the other dazed -something she took advantage of to drag her out of the alley before the humans could notice them- and dripping blood from her nostrils.

(Not quite, have you ever been punched in the face? The time between just after getting punched and collecting yourself is when you are 'dazed'. It's kind of like being in shock, but on a smaller scale.)

Katanas head felt fuzzy and her Nose felt like someone had run over it. She tried to stand up noticing Jackie had moved her " What.... wow.... Okay my head feels like its filled with cotton still" She Layed down her nose pooling a bit of Blood " I'm just gonna stay still for a bit... what happened?"
