Micah nodded, smiling shakily at Ray. Silvia ran over to them, practically throwing herself at Micah. "You dummy! You don't know how to fight those... Whatever they are! Gods, are you okay?"
Micah nodded again, laughing and gently pushing Silvia off. "I'm alright."

"They're a Nimmt..." Ray says, before shutting up realizing nobody had asked him what it was. He kept silent, looking at his wings, trying to see if he had knocked it out of place with the crazy wildness he was.

Silvia frowned. "A what? Is that one of those monsters you two are leaving to fight?"
Micah realized that leaving would mean fighting those more and he nervously looked at where the Nimmt had been.

"Yes... Thankfully, they're usually a rare thing to encounter." Ray mumbles, pretty sure he hadn't messed anything up with his wing after a glance.

Micah sighed in relief, then looked at Ray. "So... What would've happened if it had touched me?"

Ray opens and closes his mouth a few times before finally getting his words together. "It could take anything it wanted from you. Not just physical stuff, but emotional and thoughts too. There is little they can't take."

Micah shuddered. "If I never see one of those things again, it'll be too soon." He grabbed Ray's hand, mostly because it was the nearest source of comfort.

Ray squeezes his hand gently, nodding silently in agreement. He looks down at their interlocked hands and smiled, a blush creeping onto his face.

Silvia noticed this and smirked, looking extremely amused. "I can leave, if you want," she said teasingly.

Ray shrugs, glancing back up at her. "I-I mean if you-u want to leave, I'm not keeping you here. But don't let me force you to leave."
